The one Occupation he should not have.........

He walked through the streets of his home land eyes closed and listening. His left eye was cybernetic the nano lines when he actually used it's enhancements caused red markings to dance over his face. 'Scaring' from old injuries. His silvery white hair short and messy around his head. And his eyes such an odd shade of blue green so deep and intense one moment they seemed blue the next well a deep unfathomable green. Hanging from his left ear alone was a piercing a hoop with a red stone small and 'perfect' from the bottom of that a long tied off braid. Although all of this at the moment was hidden behind a hood.

He was tracking he was hunting he himself an Original by sire not by birth. Not just any original though....his sire.........there was none that compared to him or could ever hope to. He found his intended target the vampire was nasty killing off innocent men women and children but it was what he did to the women and children that irritated him to no end. What he did to the women and children was utterly disgusting and not something he wanted to think about. Agility far surpassing that of any known vampire legs and and right arm cybernetic but high tech not low.

"Do you think you can beat me little one?" The vampire said turning to face him.

"Trepetat' ot strakha ......" he said lowly his deep low voice cutting into the cold Siberian winter. Home this felt so natural to him. 'Tremble in fear' Three simple words as the long black scythe formed out of cold iron. While many thought Iron was worthless to kill a vampire that it had to be silver they were wrong........Iron worked just as well......purged them from this world as quickly if not quicker then Silver did....silver was slower more painful for sure.........but Iron.........he knew got the job done quickly. He swung as the vampire moved the blade large and heavy looking too heavy for someone of his smaller size to wield easily but he cleaved him in two. "May you find your salvation in death.........for I'll not give you any here." He said lowly and turned becoming aware of another that made him pause and scan the surrounding area......Aleksandr Nikita Herr......'Sasha' to those close to him......felt a cold chill go down his spine.........and normally the cold did not bother him at all.

"My...it's been a long time since you've come home...have you gotten too hungry to hold back?" he asked lowly, his dark voice floating through the cold, Siberian air as he stood there, deep purple eyes staring down his 'target' or 'son'.

"Or is it that you've finally come to do as you swore to do all of those centuries ago and rid yourself of your master..." he mused lowly as he walked, though it seemed more like he floated, through the snow and was before Sasha in the blink of an eye.

Centuries of being bound to one another, and yet all of those centuries had not managed to break his 'son's' burning desire to hunt and slay vampires, despite that he himself was one. It was both sad and amusing all at the same time.

Sasha turned his head. "We both know I haven't acquired enough for that yet." he said as he turned it was true. He hadn't.........this one was still leaps and bounds above him. His hand tightened on the cold metal shaft of the scythe. "And he got what he deserved."

Sasha though did take a step back although it was not fearful but rather wary. This man.....so long ago had changed his world completely and he knew could do it again. "Sin is sin..........and what he was doing was unforgivable." Sasha turned to walk away. "I don't need his blood. Hunger has nothing to do with it. I won't take anyone's."

He chuckled lowly, darkly as he moved and brought his left hand around to cover Sasha's eyes, the 'all seeing' eye tattoo staring back at Sasha. "That, my dear one, is a lie. "I won't drink from anyone but my master" is the correct response," he said lowly as he got up close to him, wrapping his right arm around Sasha's waist as he pressed up against him.

"I could care less about those who aren't true originals...they're of no true use to me...the one I came here for...is right here in my arms..." he explained as he leaned in and pressed his cheek to the side of Sasha's neck and breathed lightly on it.

"If you're here...you obviously came here searching for me...it must be for some other reason than to just be cruel to me...after all, you only seek me out when you truly desire me..."

"I won't drink from anyone." He repeated stubbornly as his eyes closed his head tipped back and his fingers went cursedly lax on the blade dropping it as it fell to nothing but an iron bead without his controlling it.

"Stop..." He said after a moment he hated it the way his body responded to the whim of the one who held him. The one before him as if Sasha himself had no say in the matter. His Master, his sire, his father. "I wasn't seeking you out........I was doing my job that's all. And Russia is my home....I don't have to be seeking you out to come here......" He breathed even as he felt the pangs starting in his fangs felt them wanting to lengthen his breathing shifting. Although he knew coming back to Russia he was bound to run into him. No....that he would know Sasha had set foot once again in these lands....

"I will never call you master." he breathed unable to no matter how much he tried fight back.

He chuckled lowly as he licked Sasha's neck as he stayed where he was. "Now now...you shouldn't be that way to your father...after all...I missed you Sasha..." he said lowly as he ran his fingers along Sasha's torso and up to his hair, where he tangled his hand.

"You will drink from me...you crave it, you need it. Your body yearns for it, burns for it. Even though you can't move, your body desires to eat me just because I'm this close to you..." he said lowly, whispering it into Sasha's ear. And Sasha's comment about not being called Master made him chuckle once more and he leaned in and kissed Sasha's neck before he spoke lowly, "Even if you don't say it aloud...You know it's true..."

Sasha gasped his body wanting to tremble as he fought with himself the fingers tangled in his hair. "Stop it." he said lowly although he meant it to be a demand it came out sounding more like a plea even to his own ears... Aching.....his fangs ached to piece his 'father's' flesh he felt parched and he knew why. Knew no other blood would hold any meaning to him at all. Because of who his father was.

"You mean you missed toying with me." He said lowly shivering every time felt his father's tongue along his neck, his breathe over his ear, the kiss. "No....I have to accept you as such and I won't." He cursed himself for dropping the bead on the ground it was worthless to him. "I want nothing from you. I'll starve first........" He said fighting so desperately with himself thankfully it hadn't been taken out of his hands yet. They were still talking and his master still tormenting him.

He kissed Sasha's neck again before he spoke once more, "Toying? I haven't played with anyone in centuries...last you met with me, wasn't it you who first approached me? My dear Sasha, perhaps you should think more carefully about who you blame before you openly say such things..."

"As for having to accept me...yes, you do have to accept and live with the fact that you are my son. I took you in and raised you as my own child and when you were ill and nearly dead, I saved your life...as a child, you loved and adored me...what happened to that child that I love so?" he asked lowly as he rested his head on Sasha's shoulder and closed his eyes. "Being alone for all of these centuries...it was horrible and I sat everyday, watching, waiting for you to return...but you never came..." he said lowly, sadly as he let his left arm finally move to drape over Sasha's shoulder.

"Eternity is lonely when you have no one to share it with...and when you leave again...I'll surely have to sit once again in that window and weep until you return..."

Sasha shook his head. "I grew up as all children do." He countered. "I realized what I had done. For all I knew then nothing would help me, no one would. I believed you when you said you could save me not condemn me to a life of eternity needing to live off of another's blood anothers life. Becoming dependent on yours alone....."

Sasha pulled against his arm wanting to break free before he started to loose what control he had. For all of his knowledge all of his wisdom in Alchemy it meant nothing before this man who could unravel it all no doubt. "Weep until I return? Or think of some new way to torment me?" He had come to him........but..........even to this day whatever vampiric powers he'd have never awoke but Sasha was one incredibly powerful alchemist not what modern people believed to be one but one who could actually manipulate the elements around him. Not mind you that it did him any good at this moment.

Sighing, he turned Sasha to face him and in his eyes was true sadness. He had gotten to know true sadness, true loneliness while Sasha had abandoned him and left him alone for centuries, all the while he was left with the knowledge that his son truly and utterly hated him. "Sasha...please...even if you truly hate me, don't torture yourself...at least feed so that you can regain your strength..." he pleaded lowly in a hushed tone as he brought a hand up to gently rest on Sasha's cheek.

It had been hell and true torture to sit there and watch, knowing that he may never return to him. Knowing that he was hated by his son whom he loved dearly even though he had rarely showed it when the boy had been younger. And the most cruel of all cruelties was that he had not turned Sasha to condemn him, but to save him so that he could smile always....yet his turning Sasha had somehow hurt him and made him bitter towards him.

"I know you don't believe me...but...I'm sorry..." he whispered lowly as he nearly let tears fall.

Sasha blinked when he was turned to face him. Staring into his eyes as he looked up at those expressive purple eyes if one could say anything about this man his emotions were always there in them. Sasha looked at him stared at him a moment longer before taking a deep breath his fangs already lengthening. "Fine." he answered.

But he turned his head away from the touch, away from his father's touch and closed his eyes. "And I don't." He agreed. Perhaps it was wrong of him to be so judgmental, but......for the life of him, he couldn't figure out why or what had caused it. What had triggered it, but he had come to hate this man with a passion. "Lets.........Just get this over with."

Sighing, he lowered his empty hand to his side and looked away from Sasha. "I didn't think you would..." he said lowly, sadly as he brought his hand back up and opened his once clenched fist, revealing that he had dug his claws into the bare flesh of his right palm. "Here...take it so that you can leave...as you wish to do..." he instructed lowly, but it wasn't a demand, more like a broken request.

If he would have never met this child, he would never have had to suffer like this. Tears and gut wrenching screams of agony as he starved himself for centuries as he waited for his chylde's return. So much suffering...and yet he will continue to endure it in hopes that he may one day be blessed with the return of his last remaining original son.

Sasha sighed and stepped forwards as much as he didn't want to he had to or he'd drop he knew that. Too long without food. Take it and leave as he wished to he would. He would leave and once again leave Russia it was a mistake to accept the mission to come here no matter how much he missed Russia his home land this place...........and wither or not he was willing to admit it even to himself missed Kibatsu. "Of course not, I had no intentions of staying in Russia for long."

He moved taking the offered hand and pressed his mouth to the wound before drinking knowing that soon he would be leaving he could not would not stay..........he couldn't. He hated this man. Hated the air he breathed because this man...........each swallow. To.....to....his hand tensed the one holding the offered hand before him. This man...........who he had loved and adored had trusted and the betrayal hurt more then anything. He didn't fear Kibatsu couldn't but that didn't mean........he wasn't hurt and angry hating him for changing his world and then shattering.

Closing his eyes, he kept his head turned away in both shame and pain. To never be given the joy of being able to see his beloved's smile and hear his laughter as he had done so many centuries ago...it hurt more than any other form of pain he could imagine. And even as he felt the sting of pain rush through his arm, he never once moved to let his gaze land on the one he had come to treasure.

But the longer Sasha stayed close to him, the longer he wanted him to remain there and the longer he wished Sasha would remain, the more he wanted to ask... "Why...Why do you no longer love me..." he whispered lowly as the tears that he had so desperately tried to hide from his beloved son fell and began to freeze to his already frigid skin.

Sasha finished taking what he needed and straightened up. "No longer love you...." He repeated and shook his head. "I never said that I don't love you.........perhaps that's why I hate you as much as I do." He turned his gaze to look at his father at the man who saved him when he changed him and then.........Sasha shook his head.

"Who though would stay and not hate the one who changed them just so that they could devour him?" Sasha said as he stepped down to walk away moving to lift the hood up if he stayed near him any longer he would want to stay. He hated him because he could not help but feel the ultimate betrayal by this man. By this man who he had loved and adored so very much who he still loved which was why it hurt........why he could not even begin to stay in Russia near him around him no....he had to leave.

He, who was so strong, went to his knees in the cold Siberian snow and stared blankly at the snow covered ground. "Devour...." he repeated lowly, almost hollowly as if he had lost all ability to think. However, after a few moments, he looked up at Sasha and shook his head. "No...I would never..." he answered lowly, shaking his head again as if trying to rid himself of the words that floated around inside of his head.

"I could never end the life of the one who I've come to love and treasure so much...never in all of my existence could I bring myself to do such a thing..." he told him lowly as the tears continued to fall and freeze to his face. "I could never devour you...no matter how cold or cruel I'm believed to be, I could never devour the one I love so dearly...never..."

Sasha turned. "Do you really think me a fool?" He breathed looking at him. "I over and over again I ignored them never once wanting to believe there words that you saved me....that you took me in just to wait until I had done it.....Until I achieved and mastered my alchemy to make it your own." He said soo angry at the moment as his words just hurt........never would he...........never would he end the life of one he treasured so.

Sasha closed his eyes shaking his head. "And then when you whispered to me that you couldn't wait to devour me......there words.......I never felt so hurt and betrayed in my life...........the one I loved the the one I adored......" He closed his hand his nails piercing the flesh of his living hand. "When you said that....."

Kibatsu shook his head at Sasha's words. "I never meant it in such a way! I only wished to make you mine, to make you my true son, my true love...I never meant..." he let his words trail off. He had been so unaware of this, of the betrayal of his servants and family. He had been so foolish to believe he could trust anyone to work in his castle and not try to make him miserable.

"Don't you understand? I'm not just an original vampire Sasha, I am the original. I don't need anyone else's power. I have the powers of every know vampire that ever lived. I don't ever need power...I will never need power..." he explained as he looked at him with those expressive purple eyes of his. "I don't desire to take away your power, the thing you worked so hard to gain...I would never rip the wings off of a butterfly and then expect it to fly..."

Rocked world..........everything seemed to invert on him. Lies those in the castle. Cold impersonal eyes closed as legs that by all rights should never collapse beneath him gave out. Sasha went down falling towards the snow shaking his head all of this time. The pain and anguish in his eyes was simply too great for Kibatsu to even begin to play with. Unlike every other vampire out there Sasha knew he would never actually gain any 'powers' of his own per-say but rather his Alchemy was his power. It was amazing sometimes how one soo smart could be soo stupid and when he thought that he knew he was thinking of himself.

The Original never needing another power. Never wanting to rip the wings off of a butterfly and then make it fly. His fingers bit into the snow beneath them feeling the wet snow soaking through his pants as he closed his eyes......what was truth now what wasn't? Why......why....."Why?" One simple question why would they lie to him why would they do this make him hate Kibatsu why.....why any of this? It hurt so much. And so much more he could not put to words.

Kibatsu closed his eyes as he stayed there like that, unable to make himself move. "To make me suffer because I am strong. Because they desired to watch me suffer, they turned you against me as they greedily tried to wriggle their way into good graces so that they could get even the smallest taste of my power..." he explained lowly in a sad, hushed tone.

"I was wrong to let them live as long as they did...and I was wrong to have trusted them...but even worse still...I was wrong to let you believe I was such a monster..."

Sasha closed his eyes. Everything...........everything was because he had believed them. Because he had believed them when they said that and Kibatsu.......he shook his head when he left he had been whole. His body nothing missing no cybernetic nothing. Now though, he brought his right hand up burying his face in his hand as the red stone in the earring began to glow, he was upset and loosing control of it ever so slightly. Not enough to do anything but enough that it was reacting.

"I......it's my fault if I hadn't been so....." been so stupid.....so innocent so naive back then. And then blinded by false anger and hurt...........none of this. It was all his own fault.

Kibatsu shook his head and finally forced himself to stand. "No..I am the one to blame. I was the one foolish enough to believe that I could trust them..." he told Sasha lowly as he dusted himself off. He had been a fool to believe that he could still remain close to his family after he had came into all of his powers. He had been wrong, and he had suffered for his mistake.

"Because I was fool and still desired to be close to my corrupt family, close to people, we both suffered. And for that...I'm sorry," he told Sasha lowly as he held out his hand to him. Maybe now that he had ended his family and other corrupt servants, they could live in peace. Perhaps, he would finally be able to get out and once again enjoy the world that he lived in. Maybe now, he would be given a chance to prove his love to Sasha.

Sasha looked up at him. Looked at the offered hand before him and took a deep breath his hate had been because he felt so betrayed but his hesitation now? Was because he was 'damaged' beyond normal repair for a vampire and yet he held out his own hand taking the offered hand before him and sighing softly as he stood up looking up at Kibatsu.

"Is it.....to late to make things right?" he asked lowly wither to himself or too Kibatsu he wasn't sure. All he did know was that he had made quiet the few enemies out there being a Vampire hunter for so long would he even be allowed to live in peace or would he bring suffering to Kibatsu in another form?

He dusted off his pants though as he stood there brushing the snow off and sighed softly again. What now was all he could wonder what did they do now?

Kibatsu chuckled lowly at the question as he turned his gaze back to Sasha. "We have eternity...it's never too late for us," he answered lowly and looked out at the distance, at the snow covered road that Sasha had taken to reach this point.

"We'll return to the castle for tonight, but tomorrow...tomorrow we will leave this place and go to Japan. I have heard rumors that the great Dragon Aoi is actually of relation to me...I want to see for myself if that is indeed true...." he said lowly as he looked at Sasha. To make things right...to prove his love...he would take this night to feed and regain his lost strength and indeed prove his love to Sasha.

Sasha looked up at him quietly a moment or two. Before looking away. "Alright." He said lowly and then sighed again seemed he was doing that a lot right now. "I.......accomplished it. The Philospher's stone.......and the price for it's completion............" He said lowly shaking his head. "Has already been paid."

Sasha did look though down the road. "The Great Dragon Aoi........he's easiest to find if you go to his brothers restaurant he's usually there."
