Sunbathing at its best.

Hokori sighed they were walking her home today and drawing closer and closer to the castle. Yanki and Yura were so very relaxed. She was quiet as they were. Her dad knew she was bringing friends home today.

They were about to leave the park, and enter the gates to the castle when Yura froze a step behind them. The.....castle there was something there that....made his blood run cold. Something that he had to get away from now without a word to either of them he turned and bolted stepping down and running far from the castle letting his legs carry him away from there before what was in there sensed him out here.....something told him that if entered that castle he would......die today. Too close he was too close he could sense it here somewhere so very close his death was really waiting for him beyond those doors. He left them both without a sound running back to his apartment the one he shared with Yanki.....clutching the satchel to his side.

Hokori glanced back when Yura's warmth suddenly wasn't behind her anymore. She paused before the doors to the castle going a bit wide eyed. "Yanki....were did Yura go.....why did he leave?" She asked lowly sadly.....she had thought they were both her good dear friends so why did Yura vanish didn't he want to meet her family? "Did I make him think he had to come?" She frowned.

Yanki just shrugged it off and kept going. "Something must have scared him off...I'll talk to him about it once I get home...." he said as he walked through the gates and paused to look at her. "Seriously? Yura doesn't go unless I go...nor does he go anywhere he doesn't want to go...." he said and shrugged again before he put his hands in his pockets and began to walk up to the massive wooden doors.

When the doors began to open, Hati rose his head to stare at the figures standing there. Sniffing, a little, he could not only smell the sun, but he could scent family with it. lowering his head though, he huffed and stared at them as Yanki came walking in first, completely neglecting to announce himself first. Hati could only think instantly "One of Ketsu's..." as he watched in silence as Yanki came to stand in the center of the room before his eyes finally landed on him laying there beside Rei's throne. Only then did he make a sort of groaning sound and let his tail thump a little to let Yanki know he meant no harm.

"Ah....that explains a lot..." he couldn't help but to say aloud. "He sensed Hati in here....to think that they're even real...." he mused as he looked at Hati, who made no effort to get up or even speak to them. Only watched.

Yura had made it back to the apartment and once there he felt safe and sound.

Hokori blinked and looked at Yanki. Unaware of the story or legends. So she had no idea that Yura was truly the sun or that he ran because his 'fate' was to die at Skoll's hands. "Explains it? Why would he feel the need to leave like that because he sensed Hati?" She asked having no idea at all that her dad was a deity that the Legend of Ragnarock was more then just a legend.

Skoll walked in he didn't have his cloak but he paused able to scent it so clearly the sun. But there was another scent in that warm heated smell. He signed looking over at Hokori and Yanki. "I'm certain I can scent the sun in here....should I get my cloak?" He asked looking at them. The scent didn't belong to either of them but he wanted to know if the Sun would be arriving soon. He did glance at Hokori. "It's not Hati but me the sun avoids....,,but all things considered I can't blame him. If he's coming over I'll get my cloak unless I'm loosing my mind and the sun isn't around you." He said looking at Yanki as he walked over and sat down meaning against Hati. Yura had no idea that Skoll and Hati were fighting off there destiny and Skoll had no idea he had been cursed to kill his own......family.

Yanki pointed at Skoll in answer to Hokori's question. "He ran because of Skoll...and where Hati is...Skoll is..." he answered her lowly as he looked at the brothers.

Sighing, he ran his hand through his hair. "He's not here Skoll, but he was here....he was with us until he sensed you here...more to the point, he sensed Hati and you both..." he explained as he moved over to one of the thrones and, rather ungracefully, plopped down and slouched down in it.

"Seems it's because the legends I thought were bullshit all this time are real...not to mention it's because I seem to have managed to catch the sun first...." he mused lowly.

"Because he sensed Hati and Skoll? Does that mean Yura will never come here?" Hokori mused, saddened by that idea. That Yura would fear coming here because he would not feel safe. "The legends of Raganarock? I thought they were just stories...."

Skoll snorted before he shook his head leaning against Hati. "You caught the sun? Not likely more like the sun choose you out of everyone else. To him you stood out among them. As to his being safe here, perhaps centuries ago he would have been in danger from me. But I have no intention, desire or even want to be the wolf that devours the Sun. I will not give in to the damn curse. You can bring him before me and that will not change. I will not do that man's dirty work." Skoll said as he laid there against Haiti's side breathing in the scent of the sun. " I came here to defy my fate not become entrapped by it."

Yura slammed his fist into the wall before sliding down it and curling up how much of a coward was he? He hated himself so much right now....how could he just abandon Yanki like that run and leave his side.

Yanki snorted and looked over at Skoll again. "Isn't being chosen the same as capturing in our world? After all, when a vampire falls in love...it's binding and will never, no matter the circumstances, change..." he said lowly as he looked from Skoll to Hati and then back at Hokori.

"Yura...will eventually fight himself to come here...if for no other reason than to defy his own emotions...and the expectations set out before his birth..." he said, as if it were an off-handed matter that didn't mean a thing to him. None of this really had much to do with him personally. This was Yura's life, therefore Yanki felt no obligation to go meddling where he had no business.

"Seems to me things are becoming more and more complicated..." he finally said lowly as he rested his head on his paws. Huffing, he opened his eyes to look up at Yanki, "I'd move if I were you...they're coming..."

Skoll looked at him and smiled. "However you choose to look at it, it doesn't change how you feel about him, or the fact that I have no desire to be slave to things decided before even Hati and I were born." He said and glanced at Hati as he spoke that they were coming.

"Slave to what?" Kira's voice inquired as he walked into the room glancing over at Hati as he walked up to his throne next to Rei's and Kira's throne between them in fact. He walked over as a heat and warmth unlike any other Kira had felt was approaching the castle.

Skoll sat up and looked at the door. While Yura had run away Yanki was right he would not stay away. Skoll could scent it on the wind feel the aura and as he lifted his hand see the blisters and heat burns starting to take shape as his skin was reacting to the aura of the sun and the boy was not here yet. Kira looked down at him using his powers and dropped the white fur lined cloak on Skoll who slipped it on and curled into Hati. "My fate...."

Kira shook his head. "No Skoll not your fate or destiny. The cruel curse laid on you that you have the power and ability to fight. Just like Hati that curse can not hold you if you don't let it."

Skoll slipped on his cloak and looked at the door. "I will let no one tell me I have to kill someone or be something I am not. I have never wanted to kill the sun, just escape my curse. My self, Hati,and see my family free, our father is free, our grandfather here, Hati defies his curse.....now it's me. I have to face this boy. I have to stand before the sun......and do as Hati did......." But what Skoll didn't say was that he feared he didn't have Hati's strength. Hokori was quiet watching everything transpire.

Yura had only sat there a minute before he got up and made his way back nearly as quickly as he left.
