Extended Family

Hate....no he could not honestly say he hated him anymore. Angry no.....not even that more like annoyed and frustrated. Honestly planning on taking a flight late in the night to Japan, to arrive here giving him no time at all to heal after that was just....was just......

Aleksandr the man known by many as Sasha walked into the restaurant run by Zero ahead of his now lover even more irritated.......he swore if he got the 'call me master' whispered into his ear even jokingly one more time he'd plant his foot right where Kibatsu didn't want it. Hard..........very hard.........and then be even more annoyed because his body really didn't want to move that way at all.

Sasha sighed walked in and walked up to a vacant table sat down gingerly and closed his eyes he was wearing a long heavy hooded black trench coat, black boots and jeans everything was heavy and looked difficult to move in but it wasn't.

Kira glanced over he was eating breakfast while Aoi he believed was in the back at least at the moment he thought he was he wasn't sure where his boyfriend was but the white haired man's sudden presence was enough to make everyone in the restaurant uneasy. He had no idea that this was the 'Iron Blood Alchemist' who was a Vampire Hunter and one that had all of the vampires in the establishment uneasy. Or for that matter who it was that was not long behind him.

Following behind Sasha, he walked in silence. Too focused on the matter he needed to deal with, he would deal with Sasha's anger later. Right now, he had to deal with a matter that had long been building.

Walking into the restaurant, he looked about, letting his expressive purple eyes scan the room as he searched for the one they called Aoi, but instead, his gaze landed upon the one known as Kira. "You're the one known as Kira, correct?" he asked lowly as he stared at Kira. "If you are, you know where the one known as Aoi is. Find him for me, and bring him to me...I need to see him with my own eyes..." he requested lowly, his dark voice making him sound perhaps a bit too harsh, but he had rarely been out in the public in twenty five centuries, one would have to pardon his social skills.

Sasha glanced back at Kibatsu and sighed. Here we go..........he was used to being a royal a King being listened to and obeyed. This may very well not go over well at all. It wasn't even that he was really angry with Kibatsu he wasn't he was just irritated with the looks he was getting from a few who wanted to tangle with him but weren't gutsy enough to fight him with Kibatsu following behind him all morning.

Kira paused the drink before his lips and blinked as he looked at the one who walked in and in a demand mind you a polite one for a demand insisted that he got up and fetched Aoi for him. Kira finished taking a drink out of his glass before setting it down and then pushed his chair back. His gaze landing on him a moment longer before he turned and walked towards the back. He wasn't Aoi's keeper what his lover did he did it wasn't like he had a tracking device on him or anything. "Aoi......" Kira called as he walked into the kitchen.

Zero walked out of the kitchen towel in hand and narrowed his eyes. "If your here as a customer take a seat if not then get the hell out......" But that was Zero in a nut shell.......he wasn't being rude he was just being himself. He didn't like people hanging around taking away from paying business. It was bad for his restaurant.

He turned his attention to Zero and just stared at him for a long while in silence as if he were measuring him up for size. In reality, Kibatsu was just gauging his power. In the end, he wasn't what Kibatsu considered a threat, so he turned bodily to face Zero. "Regardless of what authority you believe you have over me, you have none. I take commands from no one, not even the brother of the one called Aoi..." he told him lowly as he stared at him.

If Zero were to attack, he would simply defend. Every power possible at his disposal allowed him to fight without ever really fighting, and to defend without even lifting a single finger. "If you speak to me, speak to me in a manner that is non-violent or don't speak to me at all...I don't have time to deal with someone like you."

Zero narrowed his eyes. "Ass hole, I don't care who you think you are, you don't march your ass into my restaurant and expect the royal treatment. I have every right to kick any nonpaying slouch out that I want." He said narrowing his eyes as he looked at him. Zero's ability of absolute negation might not mean much to this jerk but.........he wasn't about to be pushed around either.

Zero narrowed his eyes. "One last time jackass sit your ass down and order something or get the hell out. I have no time to waste or humor with the likes of you."

Sasha sighed this was getting them no where fast. "Vse izmenilos' znachitel'no ....., oni ne to zhe samoye , kak vy pomnite dvadtsat' pyat' vekov nazad .....Kibatsu...." Sasha said turning his head and looking at him purposely speaking in Russian so that he would catch his lovers attention. Things have changed greatly.....they are not the same as you remember twenty five centuries ago.....Kibatsu

He chuckled lowly as he held up his index finger and wagged it back and forth, as if tisking Zero. "Perhaps I wasn't clear with myself..." he said lowly as he narrowed his eyes, his gaze going cold. "I said...I take commands from no one. You are wasting your own time with this. I'm only here to see Aoi. You can try to command me all you wish, but I will not move," he explained lowly, coldly. He refused to stand here and listen to Zero, who was certain to get himself hurt if he kept acting the way he was.

"Ya mog zabotit'sya men'she , kak obstoyat dela seychas . Ya priyekhal syuda , chtoby uvidet' Aoi , i imenno eto sdelayu," he answered Sasha lowly, as he glanced back at him. I could care less how things are now. I came here to see Aoi, and that is what I will do.

Zero narrowed his eyes and was about to say something but they seemed to be holding a conversation great so Sasha who he did know of knew this guy. Things were beginning to look even more annoying and irritating.

Zero's hand clenched into a fist. "I'm not ordering you to do anything. I'm telling you if your not a paying customer you have no damn business being in here, coming to see my brother is besides the point." Zero snapped boy was this guy getting on his last nerve.

"I vse zhe chto-to ne izmenilis' voobshche. Aoi ne poluchitsya bystreye , yesli vash vyzyvaya volneniya, Kira poshla, chtoby nayti yego. Ili eto vam ne nravitsya ideya sidet' i zhdat' so mnoy k yego priyezdu ?" Sasha asked as he shifted and rested his chin on his palm. He sighed shaking his head. "Besides it may be a bit before Kira finds him you could be standing for a long time."
'And yet somethings haven't changed at all. Aoi won't come out any faster if your causing a commotion, Kira went to find him. Or is it you don't like the idea of sitting and waiting with me for his arrival?'

Zero had had it. He wasn't about to tolerate this much longer and before he could move Sasha was between them back to Zero facing Kibatsu.

Sasha sighed as he looked up at him. "Come sit with me it could be a few minutes Aoi is a busy man. Or do you not want the pleasure of my company right now?" Sasha asked purposely attempting to keep a fight from breaking out and bad blood stirring before Aoi and Kibatsu even met. "Krome togo, ya umirayu s golodu , i eto tvoya vina ...... doveriye k Kire , chtoby nayti yego , Aoi ne budet daleko ot yego storone. ya .... ne mozhet vzyat' v lyuboy krovi, no vasha ili yego menya toshnit ........" Sasha said in a low please don't do this right now.....don't fight him...and knew chances were Kibatsu would ignore him. 'Besides I'm starving and it's your fault......trust in Kira to find him, Aoi would not be far from his side...I.....can't take in any blood but yours or it makes me sick........'

Zero pinched the bridge of his nose..........lovely who knew what they were talking about besides them?

Kibatsu glaced back up at Zero, narrowing his eyes, but his attention was quickly pulled away again. Sasha was just as stubborn, if not more so at times, than Kibatsu himself was, so it made arguing with him difficult. "Ya vsegda khotite, chtoby vasha kompaniya Sasha. Ya ne sporyu s nim , potomu chto ya schitayu, eto budet reshat' nichego, ya s nim sporit' , potomu chto eto u menya v krovi . Ya Gospod' ,Tsar',Original. Po svoyey prirode , ya otkazyvayus' smirit'sya s podobnymi kogo-to vrode nego . On slishkom pospeshnym i zloy . On ne dast nikakogo uvazheniya ot menya, yesli on idet v nogu s etoy pozitsiyey ," he explained lowly as he looked at him, but sighed never the less. I always want your company Sasha. I don't argue with him because I believe it will resolve anything, I argue with him because it's in my blood. I am a Lord, a King, an Original. By nature, I refuse to bow to the likes of someone like him. He's too hasty and ill-tempered. He will gain no respect from me if he keeps up with that attitude.

In the end, he couldn't argue with Sasha. Answering him once again, he spoke lowly, "Yesli vy byli golodny , vy ne dolzhny , sideli tam vopiyushchiye iz na oblaka vsey poyezdki na samolete zdes' . Vash golod vashey sobstvennoy vine." It was funny, to hear them speaking it was as if they were enemies. Especially since Kibatsu was always the harsher sounding one oft he two. If you were hungry, you shouldn't have sat there glaring out at the clouds the entire plane ride here. Your hunger is your own fault. Regardless of his words though, he sat down anyway and glared at Zero as if daring him to say anything else to him. He had already came dangerously close to angering Kibatsu anyway.

Sasha sighed as he looked at Kibatsu. "On utverzhdayet, potomu chto eto v yego prirode . On , yestestvenno, ochen' korotkiy zakalennoye . Vash ne klanyayas' lyuboy v dannyy moment." Sasha countered as he walked up and put his hand on the table and then flinched. Damn he was still sore back there and moving wasn't pleasant at all. He argues because it's in his nature. He's naturally very short tempered. Your not bowing to anyone at the moment.

He looked at Kibatsu. "Tol'ko za pervyye desyat' minut ili okolo togo ...... posle etogo ya zasnula ...... vash utomitel'no idti v nogu s .... i ya vse yeshche imeyet delo s rezul'tatami. Vot pochemu ..... eto tvoya vina ." Sasha said and sighed knowing that Kibatsu wasn't likely going to toss him to the floor he sat down on him, mind you sitting on Kibatsu's lap was far more dangerous for himself but also far more comfortable then that horrid chair or the plane ride had been. Only for the first ten minutes or so......after that I fell asleep......your exhausting to keep up with....and I'm still dealing with the results. That's why.....it's YOUR fault.

"YA ne mogu?" he asked lowly as he leaned in and let his head come to rest on Kibatsu's shoulder. Can't I?

Zero looked at them and then glanced back at the kitchen before sighing if anything burned he knew he'd be in a even more foul mood then normal. He did glance back at Kibatsu. "Thank you." Sitting down even if he didn't order not drawing attention or making his other customers uneasy and he was busy this morning. It was what he wanted. Zero was just horrible with dealing with people and where did Kira go to find Aoi anyways? Zero walked back towards the kitchen as if that solved everything. And as far as he was concerned it did.

Snorting, he looked away from Zero and down to Sasha. Zero was no longer of his concern. "Moya vina? Mozhet byt', vy zabyli uzhe ... no eto bylo vas, kto provel dvadtsat' pyat' vekov ot menya. Kakaya yeshche reaktsiya byla by u menya po otnosheniyu k vam ?" he questioned, looking down at Sasha as if he had said something stupid. My fault? Perhaps you've forgotten already...but it was you who spent twenty five centuries away from me. What other reaction would I have towards you?

But sighing, he closed his eyes and nodded. "Prekrasno. Prosto ne peyte slishkom bystro." he always gave in, no matter what it was. He would always give in to Sasha. He somehow found himself hating the word 'No' when it came to the cybernetic vampire. Fine. Just don't drink too fast.

Meanwhile, Aoi sighed as he cleaned his hands with a towel. For him? Why did they always have to track him down like this? It's not like they don't know how to come find him when he was actually at the castle. "It never changes...these days seem to be getting harder and harder to escape from them.." he told Kira lowly as he put down the towel and turned, taking off his apron and tossed it to the side, letting it rest on an empty counter.

If it wasn't one thing, it was something else these days. If he had never become Aoi Rei, maybe he would have had a different life....but things were not always as we planned them anyway. Besides, if he had never become Aoi Rei, he would never have met Kira.

Walking to the front, he glanced at Zero who walked, or maybe stomped, he wasn't sure, back into the back and just shook his head. This one must have pissed him off already.

When he appeared, entering through the hanging 'shop curtains' he looked at the one who had wanted him. "I don't know who you are...but you must certainly be a stubborn one to upset Zero the way you have..."

Sasha frowned as it was once again put back in his lap. "Da, da , eto moya vina za to, chto tak dolgo ..... YA ponyal." he said as he shook his head some but glanced up when Kibatsu agreed and told him not to drink too fast. In other words........don't do what he did yesterday and take in large mouthfuls so trick his system into believing it was full. Yeah yeah it's my fault for being gone so long.....I get it.

He leaned his head up and sighed. "I won't." He said lowly switching back. He leaned his head up as his fangs found purchase he more or less curled into Kibatsu there was no point in resisting since he was the one who had asked. Now that he wasn't resisting and fighting it every step of the way he almost seemed to go lax against Kibatsu his eyes closed awake but drinking slowly from the side of his neck. Which had just about every vampire in there floored they had no idea Sasha was a vampire to begin with. A hunter yes vampire no.

Kira sighed. "Not sure......but he seemed rather......Instant." Kira answered as he followed behind Aoi towards the front noting the angered look Zero sported as he stomped to the back.

Kira walked up and looked the silver haired companion was now feeding and the dark hair man was sitting down. Although what happened up here while he was in the back 'fetching' Aoi he had no idea but he did stay close to him.

He chuckled and put a gentle hand on Sasha's head as he looked up at Aoi. Dark hair with stunningly expressive eyes...it was indeed possible that they were family. He would only know...if...he could catch his blood scent. "I am indeed stubborn...I refuse to be spoken to like I'm a a bad child or a dog. Bad attitudes get little response from me..." he answered Aoi lowly as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. Searching, scanning the room for the correct blood scent.

When he opened his eyes again, he looked back up at Aoi and sighed. "At least the rumors are more than just that..." he said lowly as he glanced back down at Sasha. "On krovi," was all he said to him. He's blood. It was his way of confirming that Aoi was in fact related to him. A true Original by blood.

"Ya krov'? Mozhet vy imeyete v vidu sem'yu?" Aoi asked lowly as he looked at Kibatsu in amusement. A blood relation with someone he had never seen in all of his existence...it was certainly intriguing. I'm blood? Could you mean family?

Kibatsu paused a moment, not sure what to make of Aoi's knowing Russian. Of course, he was a man who had a hand in nearly everything. The Yakuza, the music world, America's politics...it was a wonder the man ever found time to relax and sleep. "Da. Ya govoril o sem'ye ...." he answered lowly as he looked back up at Aoi. Yes. I was talking about family....

Kira looked over as he said that he refused to be treated as if a bad child or dog. Then glanced back and sighed shaking his head. "Zero didn't mean it that way......he's not good with people ironically enough." Kira said softly as he stayed next to Aoi then glanced up at him. The conversation........ironically enough he did know. A point in the game when he had a son who spoke Russian and endeavored to teach him. However since this didn't seem to include him he remained out of it. Although he did glance up at Aoi curious.

Sasha pulled back only a little pausing a moment to catch his breath. "Da? Po krayney mere, otvechayet na vopros vy prishli syuda dlya ...... nadeyus', on net nichego, kakostal'nyye chleny sem'i ...." Sasha said and leaned back in the rest of the way his lips brushing against Kibatsu's neck. 'Yeah? At least that answers the question you came here for......hopefully he's nothing like the rest of the family....'

Sasha murmmered as he brushing his fangs against Kibatsu's neck feeling the hand on his head and fingers in his hair. 'There both very young.....although the 'human child' isn't human at all not if the undercurrent I'm picking up is correct....he's a sleeping vampire.'

"Chert ..... prosto nuzhno bylo , chtoby ya osoznal yego ...... "Sasha said in a low almost hissing sigh he was starving aware he was starving now since he couldn't trick his body into thinking it was fully by drinking fast and getting around the fact he had been starving for the last twenty five centuries. His fangs once again found purchase in the side of Kibatsu's neck as his eyes closed and he went back to drinking he couldn't get enough right now. Then again Kibatsu had done this to him last night. So......he doubted his lover would be overly upset with his constant feeding right now. 'Damn it.....you just had to make me aware of it......'

Kibtasu looked over at Kira and just sighed and closed his eyes. "Regardless, he needs manners. A royal family needs to have well mannered members...then again..." he said, pausing to look over at Neikan, who sat in the corner of the room, white eyes glaring coldly at Kibatsu. "This family...has been in the public eye since it's birth twenty five centuries ago...when Neikan and Aoi were nothing but mere children and their names were famous based on their music and not their royal status..." he mused lowly as he just looked back at Kira. "Of course, this isn't my place, so you don't need to pay heed to what I say..." he said lowly, shrugging before he looked back at Aoi, who had sighed at his words.

With closed eyes, Aoi responded lowly, "I've tried for centuries to get him to be at least polite to people...he simply can't..." And it was true. Zero couldn't control it, so Aoi knew it wasn't Zero's fault. Zero would just have to learn to cope with things in some other way.

When he did open his eyes, he looked at Kibatsu with clear, ice blue eyes that were as blue as the depths of a blue ocean. "As for what you said earlier...How exactly have you heard of such rumors?" he questioned lowly.

"Little birdies told me...or rats...either way...those who have seen you before have informed me that you look similar to me in the fact that our blood scents of family...that, and we share some of the same characteristics in personality and facial features..." Kibatsu explained lowly as he answered Aoi. "They're no longer just simple rumors though...you are indeed a true one. Your soul, your bloodline...you are a born True Original..."

Zero came back out of the kitchen a glass in hand with the drink Kira had been drinking and which had soured during his time in the back getting Aoi he didn't trust one of the girls to make it they tended to ignore him and add in human blood which Kira could not have period. His fangs were indeed half way out and yet because he had just not that long ago gone through reconnection surgery for the limbs none of them felt it wise to risk a change over just yet. So instead Zero made this up for him to help him heal quicker since his vampiric gene's were so close to the surface it helped.

He walked up as he heard the typical conversation about manners. And Zero's lack there of. He set down the glass and Kira glanced up at him.

"Thank you." Kira said and Zero rose an eyebrow.

"For what?" Zero asked looking at him and Kira chuckled.

"The drink...."

"Whatever." Zero said and turned to walk back not overly caring that Kibatsu didn't like him he was rather used to not being liked. He glanced over at a couple of waitress's gossiping instead of doing there job. Talking about how Akumu left him Zero's chosen left him because he was a jerk and cruel and a bunch of other things. Zero turned his head looked at the clock nope they were just coming on shift less then an hour ago customers to wait on.....and they were....

"If you two bitches don't get back to work your fried! I don't pay you to shove your heads up each others asses!" Zero barked and they yelped moving off he narrowed his eyes as he turned to walk back to the kitchen. Sick to his stomach, feeling like death warmed over which was funny because he was death and yet......he opened the restaurant to try to build up a resistance to all of them when his powers turned in against Zero himself.

Kira sighed as he looked at Kibatsu. "I....can't explain it but Zero really is a nice guy, he's a good person but he's not good with people." It was how it was always explained at least to him he wasn't overly sure how Zero's gift worked. But he did glance between them. "So would that make you....like a grandpa to Aoi, Zero, and Nei?" Kira asked.

Sasha rolled one eye towards them he couldn't care less as long as nothing interrupted his current meal he didn't care. Although as he sat there the white haired boys scent like Aoi's scented very much akin to that of Kibatsu's of blood of family although a bit changed due to a rebirth but that wasn't it. The stone pulsed once in his ear as he used it's powers, his powers and frowned before tipping his head up. "Zero je miris krvi , kao i vaš i Aoi je .... mada ... to je takođe snosi senku nasledje . Oni govore istinu kada kažu da ne mogu da joj pomognu da Kibatsu .... on je bolestan .... veoma bolestan i bori ." Sasha said lowly to Kibatsu. Speaking in Serbian not a well known language anymore but one more native to him being from Serbia. 'Zero's blood scents like yours and Aoi's....although...it also bares the shadow taint. They speak the truth when they say he can't help it Kibatsu....he is ill....very ill and fighting it.

"On zari je Nosferatu nasledje ..... biće krvi samo tvoja ..... bi biti dovoljno jaka da ga izleči ..." Sasha said as he sat back having finished his 'meal' and no longer hungry at all. 'He bares the Nosferatu taint.....being of your blood.....only yours would be strong enough to cure him....' It honestly didn't matter to Sasha either way but since Kibatsu was judging the kid he ought to know the kid really was sick, had been for a long time and really couldn't help it, the constant anger and hostility was because he was seriously ill. It seemed his powers were fighting to cancel out the 'Shadow' in his blood which was making him ill and why they weren't developing right....that and Sasha didn't like the blonde hanging round in the back corner of the restaurant something about him bespoke trouble.

Kibatsu looked at Kira and closed his eyes. "I could explain it, but it doesn't mean it'll be fixed. The problem doesn't lie within the boy himself, but his blood...." he explained lowly as he opened his eyes and held up five fingers. "In your royal family, I am the 'grandfather' if you will, of all of you...each of you bare my blood scent, a piece of my personality, my eyes- even if they have deviated from their original color, my facial features, and of course, a piece of my own abilities...." he explained lowly, lowering a finger each time he listed something about himself that connected them all.

"As for the true originals, I am the father to them all...as Aoi is father to all humans and new breed vampires," he said and looked down at Sasha as he spoke. Closing his eyes, he shook his head and told him lowly, "Ja znam šta je on . To ne menja ništa . Moje mišljenje i dalje ostaje . On je , kao što bez mrlja." It was a truth that even Aoi would be shocked to hear Kibatsu speak aloud, since he had only met the family in person today. I know what he is. It changes nothing. My opinion still remains. He was as such without the taint.

He licked his lips as his fangs lengthened. Control was something he usually had at all times, but with one being as weak as he had been, it was still something he would have to work on. But ignoring it, he spoke again to Sasha, "Što se tiče moje krvi ... samo ću mu ga kada dođe vreme . Akovreme ne poziva na to , ja ću ga ostaviti kao što je on . Neće umreti od njegovog stanja , tako da nema žurbe." It seemed cruel, but in reality, he knew something that Aoi did not and knew that there was a right time and place for everything. When the right time (the future) came, he would indeed gift Zero with his personality back, and rid the boy of his illness. As for my blood...I will only give it to him when the time comes. If the time does not call for it, I will leave him as he is. He will not die from his condition, so there is no rush.

Kira looked at him as he listed off everything and tipped his head blinking a few times. Even he was? He didn't know that. But he did glance at the two as they spoke in a language that he didn't know and glanced at Aoi. He wasn't sure what was going on but at least things weren't bad for meeting family for some reason he had this uncanny fear of meeting any 'family' since usually it ended up bad for him. He had memories of his past life but they felt more like dreams.

Zero without any further word walked to go back into the kitchen. Not really caring what they were talking about. He was rather used to things the way he was. So the idea that hearing his name in there conversation might mean something implied heavily towards him never occurred to him. Ironically enough as far as Zero Rei was concerned he was royal only because he was once Aoi's blood brother but he died and was reborn.....so it was a kinship among vampires he had a hard time believing he was still of royal blood when Aoi was the one who looked like nobility not Zero himself.

Sasha looked up at him. "Vi imate razloge za sve što radite . Ali nijedan neće ga ubiti on je živeo ceo svoj život vampirskoj sa mrlja ." Sasha said lightly as he leaned against him not at all worried about the appearance of the fangs. He had made his 'father' starve for twenty five centuries so to see a certain lack of control wasn't all that unusual. 'You have reasons for all you do. But no it won't kill him he's lived his entire vampiric life with the taint.'

Sasha shrugged a bit as he relaxed feeling the painful thrum in his back calming now that he had fully fed. "Iz nekog razloga on ne ..... mi kaovrsta bude ovako i bez mrlja . Ja se ne sećam nikad sa njim u prošlom životu njegove ." Sasha said they were talking about Zero saying things that would probably upset Aoi if he but knew what they were saying then glanced at Aoi and tipped his head. Before glancing at Kira. 'For some reason.....he doesn't strike me as the sort to be like this even without the taint. I don't remember ever meeting him in a past life of his.'

"Yes even you....Kibatsu is many things but he is not nor has he ever been mistaken or a liar. Your blood lies dormant now, but it's there as clearly as it is with Aoi, Neikan and Zero....I can scent the blood kin as easily as he can." Sasha said lightly.

Kira looked at him and sighed. "I don't doubt it....it's just.....meeting family makes me.....nervous." He said tense uneasy.....usually meeting family meant he was raped abused and used somehow and part of him feared this would be no different. He had no good memories of parents. So hearing 'grandfather' or rather 'father' anything made him tense and wanting to stay close to Aoi period. "Um...."

Sasha rose an eyebrow but chuckled. "Aleksandr Nikita Herr, But for the sake of sanity Sasha is fine." He said lightly since most tended to pronounce it 'Alex-zan-der' and not Alek-san-dr. Or worse.....they called him Alex. "And this is Kibatsu Takusen." He said introducing them both since neither had done that since the beginning. Failing utterly to introduce him as 'Master', Sire, Father anything of the sort. Although he was quiet comfortable on Kibatsu's lap at the moment.

Aoi was quiet they were talking about something and he wasn't sure what he didn't know the language that they were using but he did know that it had to do with Zero, he was almost certain the entire reason they were hear wasn't so much to meet him. But Zero.....and that angered him, in the aspect that he wanted to know what they planned to do to his precious little brother and why they thought even for a moment that he wouldn't stop them.

Kibatsu looked at Sasha and ruffled his hair he was aware of the snake in the back of the room had been from the start. "Sasha." He said simply not much more knowing that the one in word in his name alone he would know what Kibatsu wanted. He had his reasons for being here and right now it was best to leave things as they were.....

But he looked back to Kira who was handling things well and then to Aoi who was watching him carefully before his gaze without showing any indication drifted towards the kitchen door and back again. "I want none of those things Kira. Not from any of you. That's not why I'm here....as I said I came to confirm blood." Kibatsu said as he sat there slipping an arm around Sasha's waist holding him loosely to himself.

Kira nodded feeling a bit better but he hadn't picked up on what Aoi had and relaxed.

Sasha leaned against Kibatsu his lazy care less gaze taking in the sight of the one sitting far back in the room hiding himself and his scent for the most part it seemed but not from Kibatsu. "Da" he said simply. 'Yeah'

Zero made it to the door frame to the kitchen stepped down paused and then turned moving back across the room he narrowed his eyes as he his hand came down on the table startling Kira but that couldn't be helped. "Your the snake......"he said lowly 'A snake is friends with a rat' so long ago of course he never realized what that actually meant and towards who.

The figure in the corner shifted and got up walking towards them.

"Zero." he said simply and Zero jerked as if physically slapped in the face something almost vulnerable almost wounded crossed his eyes before it was shoved behind that cold mask. He straightened up and turned to look at.....him.

"Zero, I've been waiting but it seems I won't get the chance to catch you alone to talk......" Hebi said but he knew not only did he look like him, sound like him walk and talk like him his blood scented identical to his. "Come on lets....talk. I shouldn't have left you like that......."

Zero staggered back a step off center too far off center he wasn't....this wasn't the way.....he didn't talk like this get angry snap at him for being pissy sure but....this.....Zero brought one hand up to his head. "We both left." he countered....his hand coming down to the table again.

"Yes but I should have returned. Come on...surely the girls can handle things for a little bit....just this once we need to talk there are so many things that need to be said." Joshu-shi said as he looked at him.

Zero shook his head. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" He exploded which surprised all of his waitress's and customers any who knew of Akumu really......"Shut up shut the fucking hell up......your not making any damn sense....." Zero shook his head....this wasn't him this wasn't the way Akumu talked.....and acted not the way he remembered. This wasn't right.....it wasn't.....something wasn't right........

Sighing, Kibatsu closed his eyes. "I'm not the snake...you are..." he answered Zero lowly as he stayed there, sitting as if this was none of his concern. And in truth, it wasn't. This was Akumu's problem to deal with, not Kibatsu's.

"Joshu....always in the way...always Jealous of what you don't have..." he said lowly as he came walking in the door, Crimson eyes fixated on his twin. "I'd say I missed you, but that'd be a lie that neither of us will ever believe..." he told him as he looked at Zero, a sad look entering his eyes before he glared back at Joshu.

"Always angry everything...shouldn't surprise me that you're still such a hateful person..." he said lowly as he looked at Zero, before he looked back at his twin. "You're going to die soon...so the you who is me with no powers...you should run away like the scared little insect that you are..." he told his twin lowly, coldly.

Change was something that described someone or something that had grown to look different, act different, or think different than it had once done. Yes, Change was something that even Akumu had done. And perhaps, it seemed, that he had done it for the worse instead of the better.

Zero ignored Kibatsu at the moment it was to much to deal with. When he betrayed him he had pushed Akumu away and now Akumu was back and there was two....two scents two although the one that walked in the door talked to him like the Akumu he remembered.....

His gaze took in Akumu in the tattoo that hung as if a necklace of it's own around his neck in place of the pentagram dream catcher. Latin words 'Praise the God of Death' Zero didn't miss the duel meaning in it's presence what it meant. A soft pained and tender look entered Zero's eyes as they landed on Akumu that violent almost hostile rejection of Joshu a moment ago although they looked so very identical except for the tattoo's there should have been no way for Zero to know without seeing them but he did.....Joshu wasn't Akumu but there were two.

"When have I ever been anything but Hateful Akumu? You could tell me I have my moments were I'm actually nice......but I don't recall them." Zero mused shrugging. But glanced at Joshu.....why did this guy look like Akumu and what the hell did he want with Zero?

Joshu sighed. "Your sudden appearance does irritate but I'm not powerless brother dear." He said sweetly as he lifted his hand. "I'll still gain what I want. You can claim your about to kill me soon but do you really want to risk it?" He said smirking as he bent a finger in ripping his nail calmly through his own flesh the scent of his blood filling the air and Zero's eyes went wide so too did several others but Zero was closest which was what Joshu-shi wanted.

Silver amethyst went glowing crimson pink before Zero pulled his gun causing it to form and shooting the tiled floor beneath his feet not himself shattering the tile to dust and disrupting the scent of blood in the air....shattering the sudden desire to lung to pounce to....to.....he had nearly lost control.

"Aoi.....somethings not right...." Kira said lowly. "I've never seen Zero not fight back."

Sasha glanced over. "He can't.....this isn't his fight it's there's and he has to leave it Akumu...."

Zero had to leave it to Akumu for soo many reasons....that wound if he moved out of the shattered dust cloud he would pounce he barely had enough wits to do that before the dark hunger overrode him he fought it so hard. But he dropped to his knees in it hitting the fractured tiles. "Nothing...is making any fucking sense right now..." He growled annoyed and frustrated.

Akumu simply sighed and moved, vanishing and reappearing, his hand tightly gripping Joshu's wrist and licked the spilled blood away. "You only think you gain what you want...however...I know that you never gained your reaper magic, never gained the title as such....because I was the one that father chose..." he said lowly, darkly as he tightened his grip until the bone snapped.

"You can try as you like...but you will never gain Zero in any way...I refuse to make the same mistake again...Zero is mine...has always been mine...and always will be..." he told his brother lowly, coldly as he held out his hand and summoned his scythe. "Killing myself...actually has a nice ring to it...of course...the self that you reflect has long vanished...as you can see...I no longer look like that, nor do I speak like that...in the end...you are nothing more than a reflection of the past...and someone who will soon exist no more..."

Joshu smirked. "I never gained all of the power you had because father denied me yes. No matter what I did I wasn't good enough." he said as his wrist healed and he lifted his hand his scythe a reflection of what Akumu's once was. Long ago. "But I am far from having any of the reaper's powers bother as you've discovered we have our own besides what Father would give."


Joshu shook his head as he looked at him. "I will have him. I will have Zero to claim him solely as your own is a bit selfish don't you think we're twins you should let me have him as well....." Joshu smirked. "Or is it your afraid of what I'll find once I have him? Killing yourself.....poor fool you won't be killing me today."

Zero looked up startled as Akumu said that killing himself had a nice ring to it. But that he was no longer that man he had been long ago that he had changed. It was there reflected but.....he looked between them between the brothers who looked so identical in the past he would have stood he would have fired his gun he would have shot it at Joshu-shi. He would have upset Akumu by not letting him handle something like this and not trusting in him.

"Joshu was it......your a fucking idiot." Zero said calmly that harsh 'hateful' tone of his coming easily back into place he really wasn't nice to a lot of people but he really couldn't help it either. But in this case.....well he wasn't trying to be nice at all. "If you haven't figured it out yet asshole I rejected you because you aren't him no matter how much you think your identical you'll never be My Akumu...." Zero said a bit bluntly flatly. Never be the one he had longed so desperately to see again if even for a moment.

"Oh no Zero you see it's not necessarily you I'm after.....it's the true god of death sleeping inside of you. The Final Prophet. Inside of that pathetic shell and sorry excuse for an existence is Saigo Takusen....Akumu clings to you now I suppose hoping to keep the death god sealed inside of you. Myself however.....I'll destroy this pathetic being you've become and bring you back to your true glory.....a man who will end Akumu because he's in the way." Joshu said as he brought the scythe around true it wasn't as powerful as Akumu's but oh well that wouldn't matter for long.

"I will have you Zero....or rather the shell that houses what I'm after.....even if I have to destroy so much along the way to get it. The cold heartless Prophet who would cut down anyone no matter who they are....." Joshu-shi said smirking as he looked at Akumu.

"Shut the fucking hell up you fucking loon....let's get one thing fucking Straight. My name is Zero Rei and I maybe a hateful jerk but I'm not that much of a fucking asshole....you don't know a damn thing about me so don't even bother trying." Zero snapped irritated and pissed just what the hell was he talking about?

Akumu chuckled lowly and licked his lips. "You're quite funny brother...though I suppose you're right in a way...I've clung to Zero ever since meeting him...clung to him like dirt...but..I don't cling to him because of some stupid desire to lock away who he was...who he is..." he explained lowly he caught the blade with only three fingers; His index, middle finger, and thumb.

"I have clung to this life since my birth, clinging, clinging and living...clinging...and never becoming what Father decreed me to become...fighting all of my life to become someone other than what I was chosen to be...I'm different than you...and you can never hope to become me. You're always the weaker one...always just a reflection of the man you are brothers with..." he told him as he swung his own scythe, a fast motion, one that didn't seem to be possible for such a large, heavy weapon.

"As for sharing...I've always been the selfish child...I refuse to share anything I have with you!" he exclaimed as he quickly flipped the blade over in his hand and swung it back, bringing the blade back around towards Joshu's back.

Joshu narrowed his eyes. "No you just desperately cling to the illusion that anyone would want you to be something more. Do you really think he'll take you back? Look at him sitting there." he said smirking. "He's not moving not fighting not trying to help you simply sitting and watching." Joshu smirked let go of the blade and disappeared reappearing at the doorway. "Oh no not today Akumu you'll not have have the illusion of thinking you beat me today although getting to him right now will be impossible which means I have to change tactics."

Joshu smirked as he stepped back bowing. "Don't forget father abused you warped you you were never good enough beaten and broken not allowed to be anything. Your sudden discovery of self is pathetic do you really think even for a moment that after being a doll to be used anyone will honestly want you? No father choose you because you could be broken and molded Akumu pathetic and worthless."

Zero stood up brushing off his pants and tipped his head. "How many times do I have to fucking say it? Your a damn moron......but maybe putting it to you this way will make sense. 'Akumu is Akumu' nothing else matters." Zero said tipping his head. "As to my not doing anything.....honestly it's because I know Akumu won't let me down and die at the hands of someone like you."

Kira blinked and blushed he said that so much about others to hear Zero say it.

Sasha looked over at him as Joshu scowled and took his leave. He was half tempted to get up and give chase but Kibatsu still had a hold of him loosely and he knew if he even so much as twitched to shift that loose hold would shift to a tight one.

As soon as he was gone though Zero closed his eyes took a deep breath and turned to level a sharp glare at Akumu. "Killing yourself sounds good? What the hell? Dam it all Akumu don't you fucking walk back into my life just to say stupid shit like that!"
